A problem often faced when developing mobile apps and games is the cross-platform problem. That is you need to make your project work on iOS, Android, Kindle etc. and so have to create lots of separate programs for each platform. Adobe AIR mixed with Actionscript and Flash gives an excellent solution for supporting one code-base.

Some of my work involves just adding in certain functionality, normally something mathematical. These algorithms need to work in an efficient manner so as not to slow down the program within which they sit. This will be something that performs calculations and provides feedback to users.

eLearning is becoming more relevant as travel and employee time becomes more expensive. I have a process which can produce eLearing with a large range of interactions very quickly. This eLearing is designed to sit in a Learning Management System and provide valuable tracking data.
